Celebrating Mother’s – Breanna

Thoughts on What I Learned from Motherhood:

You learn to act as a teacher, social worker, doctor, warrior, negotiator…sometimes all at the same time.

You can’t spoil babies with too much affection, children of all ages need you to be listened to and supported.

Children hear what you say, but do what you do so be mindful of what you are showing them.

You raise your children to be independent, empathetic, and confident so that they can leave you and go out in the world.

You learn not to take things personally when said by the ones you are raising, especially between the ages of 12 to 18.

At times, it means putting your needs second or third, but you learn to make time for yourself so that you can be at your best.

Different stages call for different mothering, the trick is to figure out which one to use at the right time.

No one is perfect, you will make mistakes along the way, luckily children are very forgiving.
